I went here for lunch and thoroughly really enjoyed the food. I've been to Japan and ate something similar where they serve you meat on a stone grill as well. This is quite comparable for something located in the bay area! I got the curry udon and salmon and beef plate. I think it's priced pretty fair for how much food you get. We came right before the crowd rush so we were lucky, service was quick, and def would love to come here again! No complaints really. The interior is a little small and it's be great to expand since they have a lot of customers

They have complimentary miso soup I got the beef curry udon... nothing too special. Need to add their sauces to add more flavor! I think I preferred their beef rice plate more. The store is nice a cozy and the staffs were friendly.

My husband and I used to come here a lot pre-Covid and recently came back. We arrived to the restaurant when the just open for the evening so there weren't any crowds. The menu has change a bit, some items such as the Italian soda has been taken out and some items were added. My husband and I always order the Angus steak so we were happy that it was still on the menu. The steaks were soft and tender. The salad the came with it weren't impressive because they were all the end pieces of the head. But overall we will still come back. When we left the rush we're picking up. The restaurant has limited seating so I would suggest coming when the open or come on the week day.

Walked in for a table for 4, but only 2 of us first arrived and thankfully they were seated before the rest of the party got there! This is something I appreciate about the restaurants who don't require a full party to be seated. I love the beef udon here! I rarely finish my food but this was the perfect amount surprisingly. Although some more vegetables would be nice, I know it's just not how they do it here. Super yummy, chewy udon noodles, very happy with our meals!

It's been a while since I've been back but it was a little disappointing during my last visit. The food was still delicious it just seemed a little disproportionate with the rice. They put so much rice on my place with such little meat. The service was lacking as well. I asked for water several times before given water. I'd still come back because it's cheap and good but it's not the same as it used to be.
